Simple but packed with flavour, these Low FODMAP Cheese Straws are quick and easy to make and are best served with your favourite dips or cured meats.
What you'll need
1 cup (140g) Lo-Fo Pantry Plain Flour
½ cup (50g) Grated Mozzarella
1-2 tablespoon (10g) Grated Parmesan
½ cup (115g) Unsalted Butter, softened and cut into cubes
½ teaspoon (1.5g) paprika
¼ teaspoon (7g) salt
1 tablespoon (15g) water
1 tablespoon (15g) Lactose Free Milk

Process
Step 1
Preheat fan-forced oven to 205°C (400°F).
Step 2
Combine all the ingredients except milk in a bowl and bring together with your hands until breadcrumb like dough forms.
Step 3
Place in freezer for 10 minutes to cool mixture down.
Step 4
Remove from freezer and add milk, kneading until a soft dough forms.
Step 5
Roll out dough into a rectangular shape of a desired thickness then cut into 12 straws.
Step 6
Place each straw onto a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
